Discription:a 9-hole disc golf course is set around Winter Lake on the Parchment Valley property. The course is open to the public, but you must come to the Barn to check-in upon arrival. Maps are available at the Barn. Discs can be rented for a small fee. If no one is at the Barn the course is CLOSED. Please respect the property. No alcohol allowed on the property. Course is near completion...baskets set and tee off boards are placed, but the concrete pads are still underconstruction.
Attractions: Sarvis Fork Covered Bridge
Location: Sandyville
Discription:Sarvis Fork is one of two remaining covered bridges in Jackson County. The bridge was taken apart in 1924 and moved to its present site. In 1969 a truck crossing the bridge broke through the floor. Steel beams were added to support the bridge and a new floor was installed.
Attractions: Staats Mill Covered Bridge
Location: Cedar Lakes
Discription: Staats Mill is one of two remaining covered bridges in Jackson County. The bridge was moved to Cedar Lades in 1982, where it was completely restored.
